Find businesses in a city

Research searches one city at a time, in the industry on your license. The industry shows above the heading.

Search a city

   Open research

   Tap Targeting & Research in the menu. Search & Audit is selected.

   Search

   Type a city in the TARGET CITY / METRO AREA box and tap Search.

   ✓ A list of businesses shows, with how many were found.

   Read each card

   CONTACT is the role to approach, not a person. THEIR PAIN is the likely problem. YOUR ANGLE is a suggested way in.

   Keep the good ones

   Tap Add to pipeline. The button changes to In pipeline.

   See the audit and scripts

   Tap View Audit & Scripts → on any business.

Search again

• Find New Unsearched Prospects runs a fresh search and skips businesses you already have.
• ← Search another city starts over.
• Searching a city you searched before loads your saved results instead of a new search.
• Saved Research lists the cities you have searched. The number in brackets is how many.

Good to know

• VERIFIED marks a business the Guild has already checked. The others come from a live web search. Check them before you reach out.
• The search never guesses names, emails or phone numbers. Contact details come only from an audit.
• To research another industry, change Vertical in Settings and tap Save profile. Your saved research and pipeline stay.

If something's off

• "No qualifying SME businesses found in …" — the results were large brands, government bodies or articles, and were filtered out. Try a nearby city.
• "… audits could not be saved. Open one to retry." — the search worked, but some audits were not stored. Tap View Audit & Scripts → on a business to retry.
• "Please log in again." — your session ended. Sign in again.
• "You're not licensed to search yet." — your account is not an approved operator yet. Email support@sloelabs.com.
